JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Whoever wins the Republican Senate primary race apparently has a shot at unseating incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill.

The latest poll by the Mason-Dixon organization shows all three candidates beating McCaskill head-to-head.

According to the poll taken between July 23rd and the 25th, candidate John Brunner beats Sen. McCaskill 52 to 41 percent, former state treasurer Sarah Steelman beats Sen. McCaskill 49 to 41 percent, while Congressman Todd Akin holds a 49-44 percent margin in the latest poll.

The poll also took a look at Missourian's feelings towards the presidential candidates.

Mason-Dixon says 51 percent of Missourians it polled gave President Obama an unfavorable rating. Mitt Romney's unfavorable rating was 27 percent.
