Incumbent 8th District Congressman Larry Bucshon lives to campaign another day.
The Congressman held off a challenge from Kristi Risk in a rematch of the top two vote getters from the 2010 Republican primary.
Two years ago Bucshon won by a mere 2,000 votes. Tonight he was able to grab a bit more convincing win.
Bucshon said, "We ran a spirited campaign.  We took the race against Kristi Risk very seriously.  She's a candidate that works hard getting her message out and we had a good grass roots campaign, as well as on television and mail campaign to get our message out."
Bucshon will face former Democrat State Senator Dave Crooks in the fall election.
