New Poll shows Walker and Barret in dead heat in Wisconsin Recall

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV)- According to a poll released today by Marquette University Law School, Gov. Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett are locked in a dead heat for governor.

Among registered voters, Barrett led Walker 47% to 46%.

The poll also showed Barrett leading his Democratic rivals in Tuesday's primary. The winner of the primary will face the Republican governor in the June 5 recall election.

In the primary, Barrett had 38%, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk had 21%, Secretary of State Doug La Follette had 8% and state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout had 6%. While 19% were undecided.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
