Matt Cartwright Claims Victory in 17th District Race

Scranton, Lackawanna County- Matt Cartwright wins Democratic Race in 17th Congressional District.
   Cartwright faced Incumbent Tim Holden.  Holden is a 10 term politician. 

 Cartwright is an attorney from Lackawanna County.  He told Eyewitness News he will fight for the middle class.
   
  The 17th Congressional District was recently changed it  now stretches from Scranton to Wilkes-Barre to Schuylkill County to Easton.   

   Cartwright will face Lauren Cummings of Old Forge in November's general election.
