A political slugfest
is taking shape in one congressional race.
A two-decade-long incumbent Democrat,
Congressman Tim Holden and his opponent, Matt Cartwright, have traded barbs in
recent weeks.

recent weeks.
In one of the latest ads in this primary
race, Tim Holden accuses Matt Cartwright of bribing a judge in the kids for
cash scandal.
Cartwright claims that crosses the
line.
Holden did not return our requests
for comment.
Sources say there were efforts by
the Holden camp to pull the ads.
Cartwright has scheduled a news
conference Friday morning at the Luzerne County Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre, to
respond to the Holden campaign ad.
