Two Peorians Charged with Tazewell County Robberies

Two Peorians, suspected in several recent Tazewell County robberies,and arrested following a chase which ended in Peoria,  were formally charged Friday. 18  year olds Cody Talley and Daryl McGowan are each charged with armed robbery and home invasion in three separate cases. The pair's arrest came after police investigated holdups at gas stations in Pekin, Creve Coeur, and East Peoria in the past few weeks, including a home invasion in Pekin. The men were picked up after a brief chase which began in Tazewell County and ended in South Peoria. Each man's bond was set at a half million dollars.
