PEORIA - Local Goodwill stores are collecting worn-out American flags.If you drop one off, you'll get a 10% off coupon for a new flag from Peoria Flag and Decorating.
You can drop off an old flag at Goodwill stores in Peoria, East Peoria, Washington, Canton, Kewanee, Galesburg, Pekin, or Peru; or donation centers in Peoria, Chillicothe, or Morton.
The worn-out flags will be disposed of in a Flag Day ceremony in June.
