Random Drug Testing Bill Passes

A bill to randomly drug test Illinois High School athletes for steroids and other prohibited performance enhanced drugs passed the Illinois Senate Wednesday and was sent to the governor for his signature. The bill, which has already passed the Illinois House, would ban any student from competition who tests positive or refuses to submit to the random testing.
