Pirates Coach Fired

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- The Peoria Pirates will need a new coach to take the helm.

Bruce Cowdrey who coached the arena football team for five seasons has been fired. Friday's game at Green Bay will be Cowdrey's last day.

A search for his replacement has already begun. The new coach could be named as soon as next week.
