BLOOMINGTON - Alan Beaman's criminal record is erased. A judge made ruling in a McLean County court room Monday Morning.
Beaman will also get back about $2,500 in pre-trial bond money in the case that sent him to prison for more than a decade.
Beaman was convicted of the 1993 murder of Jennifer Lockmiller - a conviction that was reversed by the Illinois Supreme Court.
A re-trial was possible last year, but the McLean County State's attorney dropped the charges.
