Peorians Arraigned on Drug Charges

Two Peoria men, indicted in connection with a major drug bust recently, were arraigned Thursday in Peoria County Circuit Court. 31 year old Michael E. Miller is charged with marijuana trafficking, unlawful possession with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of marijuana. His bond remains at a million dollars because of the large amount of pot, 140 pounds, which police say was discovered. A second man, 28 year old Martin Williams Junior is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and unlawful possession. His bond remains at 130 thousand dollars. Police say they received a tip which led to the arrests. Miller will be back in court May sixth while Williams will return to court June 26th.
