Air Travel Down in Peoria

WMBD/WYZZ -- Peoria - Fewer people are flying in and out of the General Wayne A. Downing International Airport. In the first three months of 2009, 116,601 air passengers went through the central Illinois hub. Comparing that number to the first quarter of 2008, 145,994 air passengers arrived or departed from Peoria. The current rate is a drop of 20 percent
