Students To Learn About Local Government

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- Peoria County high school students can get a valuable lesson this summer in local government.
The county is accepting applications for it's summer program which gives students the unique opportunity to get some hands on experience at several facilities.
Students will play a role in a mock trial and zoning hearing, and they'll run for office in a mock
election as part of the two day course.
