Students Learn From Lab Scientists For a Day

TV – PEORIA -- In the generation there could be a shortage of scientists, that's
why researchers at the Ag Lab are mentoring several high school students. About
30 students were selected to spend a day with Ag Lab researchers and
scientists.
Students
got to do everything from micro-biology, soil analysis, to food research. Today's
participants went through an application process. Students had to write an
essay, and get a teacher recommendation to be selected for the program.
