WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- The Citizens Utility Board is back in town Tuesday for a second phone bill clinic following the success of the campaign in March.
CUB's "Right to Call Campaign" is showing consumers how to save more than $200 a year on their phone bills.
Officials from CUB were in the River City in March to show residents how to use online tools and local calling plans to save big bucks. State Representative Mike Smith is partnering with the consumer watchdog to host the clinic in Central Illinois a second time.
Anyone interested in the clinic is encouraged to bring their latest phone bill to the Fondulac Park District at 201 Veterans Drive in East Peoria at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
