WMBD/WYZZ TV – PEORIA -- New cars aren't exactly moving off the deals lot, but mechanics on the other hand are seeing a rise in sales. Owners of Beachler’s Automotive say their sales figures are up 25%. The owner, Terry Beachler says because of the economy people are trying to maintain the car they have instead of buying a new vehicle. Beachler says more people may keeping their old stand by because it's more difficult to get approved for credit.
