Methodist Gets Computerized

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA - Methodist Medical Center is going completely digital.  Only 2% of the nation's hospitals use computerized physician systems and by mid April all of Methodist's campus will be on-line.  In fact, President Barack Obama has pledged to spend around $50-billion over 5 years to help move hospitals into the computer age.  According to Methodist representatives, the Peoria medical center is the second in Illinois to go completely computerized, just behind a Decatur hospital.
