WMBD/WYZZ/WCIA TV – ILLINOIS -- The governor's pick to head the state police is coming under fire. Quinn named Jonathon Monken to the post on Sunday, but critics claim Monken is not qualified since he has no law enforcement background. The 29-year-old is a former US army captain and the governor says Monken has a proven history of leadership. Monken says he will now go through weapon's training so he can carry a gun while serving in his new post.
