Chillicothe Couple Bond Hearing

A Chillicothe couple, indicted in connection with a nationwide advertising scam, fought unsuccessfully Friday to get their bond lowered. 35 year old Matthew Simmons and 32 year old Toscha Simmons are named in a seven count indictment. They are facing six counts of theft and one count of conspiracy theft. Prosecutors say the couple sold ads in calendars and maps but, in any cases, didnt deliver the product. Matthew is being held on three quarter million dollar bond while Toscha is being held on a half million dollar bond. Both appear in court again in May.
