Bloomington Robbery Suspect Sentenced

One of two men charged with a holdup and shooting last year at the Windjammers Lounge in Bloomington was sentenced Friday to six years in prison. 20 year old Patrick McFerrin of Chicago pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery while three other charges were dropped Friday. He along with 24 year old Julius James of Bloomington were charged with the September holdup and shooting. Police say during the robbery, a shot was fired into a wall of the business. Police say they seized a BB gun, paintball rifle, drugs and cash during the arrests. James is serving a 15 year sentence for his role in the crime.
