House Fire Causes $75,000 in Damages

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- A fire on Peoria's South Side causes $75,000 dollars in damages.
Peoria firefighters were on the scene of a house fire just before 3:00 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of South Shelley Street. The fire was put out quickly, but the second floor sustained extensive fire damage.
A fire fighter suffered minor burn injuries while fighting the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
