Job Outlook Released

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA – There's good news and bad news for prospective employees in the River City. Manpower released its second quarter job outlook on Tuesday.
Employers in the Peoria area are expected to hire at a moderate pace from April until June. A Manpower survey says 19% of companies plan to hire more employees. However, another 14% of employers expect to reduce their payrolls.
According to the survey, some of the best job prospects will be in construction, manufacturing, and education & health services.
