TV – PEORIA -- Anticipating
a cut of federal stimulus money, Peoria City Council will vote on its list of
"shovel ready" projects. A list of public works projects were
introduced at the last meeting, and have now been narrowed down. The combined
sewer overflow project, and several sidewalk projects are all on tonight's
list. Also up for approval, two street construction projects for Darst and Clark
Streets. Peoria's Public Works Director David Barber says these projects were
chosen because they're top priorities.
