Circuit City Closing

Peoria and Bloomington Circuit City outlets will be closing in the near future. The nations second largest electronics retailer announced Friday its closing all remaining U S stores, meaning 30 thousand employees across the country will lose their jobs. The Peoria and Bloomington stores were originally safe from the first round of closures back in November when Circuit City filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. However, unable to sell the business, Circuit City officials decided to go out of business.
