Part of Smithville Road Lane Reduction

Beginning Monday, March 25, Smithville Road in Peoria County will be reduced to one lane and controlled by flaggers for tree removal. The lane reduction is adjacent to the bridge located about 1.5 miles east of the intersection of Smithville and Trivoli Roads. Lane restrictions will be in place from 7am to 4pm through Friday, March 29th. Intermittent delays will occur throughout each day. The tree removal is in preparation for the replacement of the bridge to begin in April.
