PEORIA - A Peoria man severely beaten claims members of the city's well known gang are behind the crime, and they're juveniles.

It happened around 5:30 Friday night on the 1500 block of South Lydia Avenue. According to police the 20-year-old-victim had been walking though Logan Park when he spotted five members of the Bomb Squad Gang playing basketball.

He told police the gang members chased him into a school parking lot, hitting and kicking him.

Police found and arrested three teens for battery and mob action; one said they were retaliating from a previous incident. The arrested teens are 14 and 15-years-old.

Officers are still searching for two other suspects.
