A bomb scare at the Internal Revenue Service in Bloomington proved to be a false alarm. The bomb asquad was called to the IRS facility and a robot retrieved two suspicious packages found inside the mailroom. The parking lot outside the freight dock was cordoned off to keep people a safe distance, but employees weren't evacuated. Once the robot retrieved the packages and the content revealed, it was discovered the packages were nothing more than 1040 forms. However, police don't regret being cautious.
