Wildlife Prairie Bill Ready for Final House Vote

SPRINGFIELD- A bill to transfer ownership of Wildlife Prairie State Park in Peoria County to a private non profit group had its second reading in the Illinois House Friday and is ready for a final vote in the Illinois House. The bill, co sponsored by Peoria State Representative Jehan Gordon Booth and East Peoria State Representative Mike Unes would require Friends of Wildlife Prairie Park to maintain the education and rercreational facilities of the park, given the state's fiscal woes
