PEORIA - Peoria's
Carver Arena turned into a sea of blue Friday.
The faithful
"Rocket Rowdies" came ready to launch and decked out in school colors.
Although, Limestone would lose, the students say they're proud of the
community's support.
Principal Jill Warren
called Bartonville "a ghost town" because everyone attended the game.
"It makes me want to cry. I mean it's so
inspiring, so 'goose-bumply' making. It's just so awesome. It's hard to find one
word to describe it," she said.
Limestone still has a
chance to take third place. The team plays again on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. at
Carver Arena.
