Pekin Fire Department Receiving Federal Funds

FEMA has awarded $754 thousand dollars in grants to fire departments throughout Illinois, including money for the Pekin Fire Department. The local department will receive $184,320 in funding for operations and safety. The funding is provided through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant.
