Sergeant Ralph
"Zac" White couldn't wait to enlist in the United States Army as part
of a proud family tradition.
After graduating High
School in Pekin, he completed basic and airborne training in Georgia.
From there he spent five
years stationed with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Zac completed 30 jumps
as a paratrooper during his enlistment.
In 2009, he deployed to
Iraq as a scout sniper.
He also did a tour in Afghanistan
after k9 training in 2012.
Zac and his dog, Ikar,
saved many lives discovering over one thousand pounds of I.E.D.'s buried in
roadways.
In January, he
completed his time on active duty, but remains part of the Army National Guard
Reserves.
He is now home, pursuing a career in law enforcement.
