Gas Prices Tumble in Peoria

By: Bob Larson
Updated: March 11, 2013

Average retail gas prices fell 11.6 cents per gallon in the past week in Peoria, according to a survey released Monday by GasBuddy. Prices were 30 cents per gallon lower than a year ago but .9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. Refineries are in the midst of switching over to cleaner burning fuel so GasBuddy Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan cautions drivers to sound the all clear in the prices.

Comments

I would say we must all be fairly indoctrinated if anyone thinks 11.6 cents per gallon drop is a "tumble"?
