Peorian Guilty of 2010 Homicide

PEORIA- A man, who police believe committed Peoria's 12th homicide of 2010, was found guilty Thursday of killing one person and wounding the victim's mother. 24 year old Dominik Sanders was found guilty of all counts for the nearly three year old crime, including murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Sanders is accused of killing 20 year old Nick Renfro near Taft Homes and wounding Renfro's mother. Police say shots were fired through the door of Joyce Renfro's apartment. Sanders faces from 45 years to life in prison when he's sentenced May 3rd.
