Area Businesses Prepare For March Madness Traffic

EAST PEORIA - Area businesses are preparing
for a big crowd during March Madness weekend.
Hundreds of people are making their
way into town for the March Madness tournament.
Bass Pro Shop Manager Jim Goff said
this weekend is always a good one for business. He said it gives the store a
chance to bring in new shoppers. He said, "There's always downtime during events like that and maybe you just got
done with a game and you're looking for something to do and it's a little too
cold outside and Bass Pro is a perfect place to do it."
Bass Pro is
holding a special event that coincides with the tournament. It's the store's
annual Kids Weekend, with several activities for every member of the family.
