A federal prison inmate, indicted for allegedly trying to conceal property sought in a forfeiture proceeding, is going to be doing more prison time. 40 year old Jerrod Zilch pleaded guilty to destruction or removal of property and was given 14 and a half months to run concurrent with his current prison sentence. However, he will also have to serve another year once his current sentence is up. Zilch's father, 72 year old Joesph Zilch of Creve Coeur pleaeded guilty to count two of the indictment and was put on one year probation with the first nine months on home confinement rules. Both Zilch and his son, Jerrod, whose serving a federal prison term on a drug conviction, were indicted in February 2012. As part of Jerrod Zilch's sentencing in the drug case, he was ordered to forfeit a 1961 Corvette. However, the government claims Zilch had the car moved without telling government officials.
