Komen Memorial Affiliate Announces Promise Run & Relay

PEORIA - Residents in Central Illinois will have another opportunity to run for a cure this year.
Wednesday the Susan G. Komen Memorial Affiliate announced the promise run and relay.
It's a half marathon consisting of two person relay teams.
Proceeds raised will go toward supporting the fight against breast cancer.
Officials say the event helps support affiliates within the Susan G. Komen community.
The 13.1 mile race takes place October 20th; race organizers expect more than 3,000 participants from all across the country.
