Morton Working to Bring New Business, Jobs to Town

MORTON - Morton's Village Board is
working to come up with new tax incentives to bring a prospective business to
town.
The Economic Development Council said
a business that cannot yet be named has interest in constructing a $5 million
warehouse and manufacturing facility in Morton.
The potential business would bring
about 35 jobs to start and property tax revenue for the city.
The city expects to have more
information by April.
