Peorian on Trial for 2010 Homicide

A Peoria man, who police believe committed the city's 12th homicide of 2010, went on trial Monday.
Jury selection was held Monday for 24 year old Dominik Sanders whose facing two counts of murder, one count of aggravated battery with a firearm and one count of aggravated discharge of a firearm. Sanders is accused of killing 20 year old Nick Renfro near Taft Homes and wounding Renfro's mother. Police say shots were fired through the door of Joyce Renfro's apartment. Testimony in the murder trial begins Tuesday morning.
