Streator Man Sentenced in McLean County for Cyber Stalking

A Streator man, indicted in McLean County for cyber stalking, pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced Monday to 30 months probation. According to court officials, 24 year old Alex Bulthuis was also sentenced to six months in jail but won't have to serve any jail time if he observes the conditions of his probation. His arrest stemmed form alleged acts of stalking committed online and acts furthering his alleged crime by seeking contact with the victim and family after being warned by law enforcement his conduct was illegal.
