A high altitude moment results in an emergency landing in Central Illinois for one of the world's most famous magicians.
Illusionist David Copperfield was en route to New York when his plane experienced minor problems resulting in an emergency landing at Peoria's Byerly Aviation Field.
The plane landed safely, and after being looked over it was deemed safe to fly again.
However, Copperfield and other passengers decided not to board the plane.
They instead decided to hop a commercial flight out of Peoria International Airport.
The magician was unable to make a scheduled appearance on a network news program, but was able to join via video conferencing.
