Pekin Man Facing Federal Drug Indictment

A Pekin man, already facing felony drug charges in Tazewell County, is now facing a federal drug indictment charging him with distribution of heroin resulting in death. 22 year old Anthony Mansini also is facing a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute heroin. He appeared in Peoria federal court Thursday after the indictment was unsealed. Federal prosecutors along with area police and Tazewell County States Attorney Stu Umholtz will hold a news conference Friday afternoon to further discuss the case.
