Former Bloomington Employee in Court on Theft Charge

A former employee of Bloomington's finance department appeared in court for the first time Thursday since being arrested at her home near the Quad Cities last week. 35 year old Leslie Weaver, also known as Leslie Lebel, is charged with stealing about 21 thousand dollars of city money. Prosecutors
claim the money was taken between September and December of 2011. Weaver remains held on a
million dollar bond and will have a bond review hearing March 6th.
