PEORIA-- Peoria Riverfront Museum Officials Take Trip To Washington, D.C.
Peoria Riverfront Museum President and CEO Jim Richerson attends Museum Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. this week.
Museum Advocacy Day is a day for all museum officials to meet their state and congressional districts.
"With all the new budget cuts, it's important to keep an eye museum jobs because they've been cut before" says Richerson.
He says museums are important to the community because of the involvement in the educational infrastructure.
