PEORIA - Peoria Police still have no suspects in the murder of 39-year-old Denise Leuthold.

Police said Leuthold was found dead in her home in the 700 block of West Mossville Road earlier this month.

Police Chief Steve Settingsgaard said the murder is shocking and he still wants North Peoria neighbors to be cautious.

He said the police department is making progress, but it's a difficult case to solve. He said, "In this kind of case, you're often going to build your case on often physical evidence at the scene, sometimes circumstantial evidence that you gather until you can identify a suspect and right now, this is a classic 'who done it' case."

Police are still asking for your help. If you have any information about this case, call the Peoria Police at 494-8000.
