Weather may have contributed to a semi crash Tuesday afternoon on I 39 which blocked both south bound lanes of I 39. A 2003 Freightliner pulling a double trailer owned by Fed Ex was southbound
when the back trailer began to sway on the snow covered road. In attempting to bring the semi
under control, the driver from Bloomington, Minnesota lost control and the semi rolled onto its
side blocking both southbound lanes of the interstate. The accident is under investigation but
state police say in their release weather and driving too fast for conditions contributed to the accident.
No one was hurt.
