Fire Call to Strong Law Offices in Peoria

Peoria firemen put out an electrical fire in the basement of the Strong Law offices at 3100 N. Knoxville Tuesday and caused $25,000 damage. One fireman was taken to the hospital after becoming ill at the scene. The fire was confined to panel and electrical wiring and breakers inside. The building sustained smoke damage in the basement area and also on the first floor. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
