PAEMS Director Calls Comments By Rescue 33 President "Misleading"

PEORIA- Comments by the President of Chillicothe's Rescue 33 ambulance service are getting a reaction from the Peoria Area Director of Emergency Medical Services (PAEMS).
The PAEMS director says Rescue 33's president, Ron Hedden, was misleading when he told the public the service could get reinstated in thirty days.
The PAEMS director says she hasn't met with the Hedden in months, and that under a new plan, he would lose all management responsibility to the ambulance service's new director of operations.
Rescue 33 had its license taken away in September because of slow response times and other service problems. AMT has taken over ambulance services but Rescue 33 is still trying to make a come back.
