Average retail gas prices fell slightly in Peoria last week, according to GasBuddy's survey released Monday. Prices were 5 cents per gallon higher than a year and 53.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. GasBuddy Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says the streak is over. The
national average has been rising for 32 consecutive days but has now dropped for two days
straight. However, DeHaan says don't get overly thrilled as prices may linger near these levels for
some time.
