WMBD/WYZZ-TV STAFF - The Knights and Potters will both play in Super Sectional games on Monday.

Richwoods plays Marian for the right to go to the State Tournament.

"Just so happy for them," said Heather Cassady, Richwoods Head Coach. "They deserve it.  They played so hard.  We've had some games where we really learned a lot last year.  It's neat when you get a team believing."

"We had some new players coming into the year," said Maddie Pierce, Richwoods Senior. "We had to learn to mesh with eachother.  Now I think we've got it.  Work well together.  Believe in eachother.  We're ready."

Morton will play McNamara of Kankakee for a shot at state.

"We're ready physically and mentally, a lot goes into these close games," said Abbie Cox says, Morton. "We've proven we can battle through close games.  We've been prepared, evern from last year.  We learned a lot from this game."

"16 minutes away from a trip to Redbird last year, so that drives some of us," said Bob Becker says, Morton Head Coach. "We're motivation to continue that road to Redbird."
