St. Thomas More Firepower Too Much for El Paso-Gridley

WMBD/WYZZ-TV - NORMAL, Ill. -- Tori McCoy scored 24 points and Lexi Wallen added 20 as Champaign st. Thomas More beat El Paso-Gridley, 62-48 in the Class 2A girls basketball state semifinals at Redbird Arena Friday.
The Sabres (32-2) will play Nashville (32-2) in Saturday night's title game. The Titans ( 29-2), who were led by Codee Schlipf's 14 points, will play Walther Lutheran (26-7) for third place.
